Altars

All our altars are handmade and have been developed over time to provide functional and inspiring sacred space for the modern magick user.

As a practising chaos magickian, I focus on circumventing my conscious mind and delving into my subconscious mind to reach the powerhouse of magick. I use visualisation, meditation and abstract tools (like sigil designs) to charge and ‘fire’ magick rites. An altar has given me a sense of place, a space set aside to mediate in front of and focus on.

But beyond these esoteric matters, my unique octagonal Chaos Magick Altars are double-sided, with black felt on one side and a black chalkboard on the other. Being able to design ‘rapid-fire’ sigils in chalk on a regular basis can really aid your magicakal development and ultimately  the consistent success of your sigil work.

Because there’s not just one kind of chaos magick, or one way to be a chaos mage, we provide a variety of altars, letting you choose a range and then get the one that suits you and your work.

Chaos Magick Altars

The Principle Chaos Altar

Get your sigils designed in double-quick time with our exclusive octagonal chalkboard altar. The 15 inch version provides an ideal space for visualisation and sigil casting, while the 11 inch version is cute, like an iPad sigil machine!

All our Chaos Magick Altars come with a set of eight chaos coins to aid in your focus. Chaos Coins are a great way to visualise the eight colours of Chaos Magick and may replace easily replace candles in your workings.

The Oven-Ready Chaos Altar

No baking required we assure you! It’s called ‘Oven Ready’ as you’ll be ready to rock immediately with this fully-featured chaos altar.

Building on the accoutrements of the Principle Altar, the Oven-Ready Chaos Altar gives you the benefits of the felt and chalkboard altar along with the set of handmade Chaos Coins and adds glass dishes, a white / multi-coloured candle and a handmade ChaoStar glyph to act as a focus for your visualisation and workings.

The Oven-Ready Chaos Altar gives you a well provisioned sacred space in which to concentrate, with references to the eight colours of chaos, and makes an excellent centrepiece for any temple space.

The Superior Chaos Altar

It’s all about choice, and building the altar that suits your space and way of working. Our Superior Altar builds on the accoutrements of the Oven-Ready version, again in 15 inch or 11 inch sizes, but adds further designs beyond the ChaoStar glyph.

The Superior Chaos Altar comes with the set of eight Chaos Coins and the ChaoStar glyph as well as an Octagonal Star glyph, a round Pentacle (Octacle) and five natural ash wood balls. These tools aid focus, and give you the opportunity to construct ‘random’ games, coin tosses and rolls et cetera to support your subconsious mind, in the same way that ‘taking your chalk for a walk’ across thr surface of the altar can help your trance and scrying work.

But check out all the accessories, as I haven’t mentioned the bronze pottery ball or the modelling clay!

The Premium Chaos Magick Altar

Our handmade premium octagonal chalkboard altar comes with everything you’d expect from our range of Chaos Altars, and also includes hand and apple glyphs to accompany the Pentacle (Octacle), ChaoStar and Octagonal Star. You will know that the hand indicates Zos Kia, and the apple refers to the goddess Eris.

But the addition that makes our Premium Chaos Altar worth the £69.50 price tag is the set of stunning handmade octagonal candles, in each of the eight colours of chaos.
